𝗔 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱!
How often do you hear that the cycle is 28 days and that ovulation occurs in the middle on the 14th day?
Firstly, each cycle is different each month! One cycle could be 27 days, the next 29 days. Very rarely will each cycle be the exact same amount of days (if you’re not on the pill) and that’s normal!
So how can ovulation be the same each time? Some cycles you may ovulate a few days earlier or later, but only you can access this by tracking your cycle through each phase, temperates and fertility discharge.
What happens if you have a 25, 27 or 32 day cycle? The outdated day 14 ovulation day will definitely not apply to you.
It very harming especially to those trying to get pregnant. Not knowing the signs of when your fertility window opens and ovulation days lead many to think there is something wrong with them, which is so sad. Timing your jiggy jiggy with your fertile window is so important because that fertility discharge/mucus keeps the sperm alive until it’s ready to meet the egg for a date (and also when to use protection if you don’t want any surprises 😂).
The easiest things for doctors is to recommend IUI/IVF. These are all super supportive methods and I would never discourage them, they are amazing and have helped so many couples get their dream!
But get to know your body first and work with it. Don’t disregard it.
